Grey ribbed high neck sweater
An irreplaceable sweater in the cold season or early spring, when you want to walk around with your light coat unbuttoned. You can even leave your scarf at home because this sweaters’ high neck will prevent you from getting cold. Special pattern and column stitch edges add this sweater extra fineness. For your convenience and comfort – there are slits on the sides. The deep dark grey colour will appeal to everyone – devotees of classics (sweater will go well with different trousers) as well as fans of casual style (it will look perfect with jeans!).
All k.N.itty sweaters and dresses have a loose oversized silhouette, making them suitable for women wearing both XS and XL sizes (EU 34-44). To help you find your way around, here are the body measurements of the models shown in the photos:
Younger model (me): chest 85 cm, waist 66 cm, hips 92 cm, height 162 cm. Usually wears XS - S (EU 34-36).
Older model (my mother): chest 104 cm, waist 90 cm, hips 103 cm, height 164 cm. Usually wears size L-XL (EU 42-44).
- Production from natural wool delights us with its comfort and warmth, despite that it requires a precise care. You may have heard that we do not wear our clothes out but ruin them by washing!
- The good news is that unlike other textile fibres, wool can refresh itself simply by hanging in the fresh air. If your knitwear is foul-smelling, just take it out to the patio or balcony (ideally the weather should be cool and moist) and leave overnight (or at least for a few hours). The odours will evaporate, and the garment will be pleasant to wear again.
- Sometimes it is enough to steam or iron the knitwear to regain its good condition. Use a hand-held steamer or an iron (without pressing it hard). Then allow the steamed knits to cool completely before wearing.
- Stained knitwear must be hand-washed in the cool water. It is the best to use special wool detergents, you could find them in any supermarket. Soak the knits for half an hour (do not rub) and squeeze out the excess water with a towel. Lay the garments on a dry towel and let them dry horizontally. Do not hang the knitwear until it is dry.
- Hats and scarves could be washed in a washing machine without any worries. Wash at a water temperature of no higher than 30 degrees of Celsius, use special wool detergents. Spin speed must be no more than 400-600 spins per minute. Although sweaters and dresses could also be washed in the washing machine, still I would recommend handwashing them.
- Knitwear should not be ventilated or dried in the direct sunlight, as garments’ colour may fade. Do not tumble dry because wool easily stretches or oppositely – it can shrink to a much smaller size.
- Sometimes woollen products tend to pill, but this is a natural feature of this fibre, not a defect. You can easily remove the pilling with a wool comb or a special electric fabric shaver. Usually, you do not even need to repeat this process a second time!
- I strongly advise keeping all your knitwear in the wardrobe folded. In this way, the knits will retain their original shape and appearance. Even if woollen products (especially heavier ones) are hung on special hangers (for crocheted or silk products), their shoulder area is ruined with hangers’ marks, garment stretches.
-I have carefully selected the premium quality yarns and with your proper care k.N.itty knitwear will delight you for years. You have my word!
